CYFOS

The Foundation was established on 27 July 2018, as the forum that will bring together all sectors on the Blue Economy including but not limited to fishery, aquaculture, shipping , marine technology, offshore resources, marine renewables, coastal and nautical tourism, research, innovation and education by fostering partnerships built on collaboration between industry, academia, research, not-for-profits, investors, and government in pursuit of joint activities and projects. This collaboration will allow the development and commercialisation of products and solutions and the provision by respective institutions skills that are relevant to the industry and society needs always in the context of a digital, sustainable, and inclusive Blue Economy.
